My 1st day at Men’s department….and we broke this week’s daily weekday record already! 4.8k woo! Me and my mentor, Siti were damn high over it la…Looks like its a good start…

But I came home and realised that my grandma was sent to hospital today…turns out her heartbeat was too high and my family doc recommend her to go hospital. I’m visiting her tml…still trying to tell myself its gonna be ok…she’s not in a serious situation but the docs are keeping her under observation for a few days.

I’m at a loss…

Patience is never a easy task.

Most fruitful…I must say. I had a calming lunch with my sister(who happen to be sick – backache!?) and soon after I left for my meeting to discuss the rental of a space in Haji Lane for Alternative Apparel to be sold there.The Meeting went pretty well and I guess if my partner has a green light , we should have the place done by June 🙂

I got down to pass Ah Fong the thumbdrive at his workplace and it was my 1st time there! The place is impressive…the menu slightly steeper den Buono, but I suppose its a gd deal and it has excellent ambience. We chatted over a coke(my 2nd one of the day) and I tell you …we should stay away from it. By the time I got it down…I had this fizzy acidic feel in my chest. Heartburn perhaps? but I tink the coke did it 😦

I went down to Kino to grab my mags before meeting Belle and Ma Lin , Ko Zay and Ko Paing @ Buono for dinner. My presence wasn’t exactly planned but thankfully Ma Lin’s greeting really calmed me down…I thought it was gonna be awkward! Ma Lin and I chatted before the food was served…talking about her studying here and her wanting to find a job here. One would have thought it would be easy to do so with a law degree , but if you consider the fact tat she’s a foreigner…den thats where the issue is at. Belle was in her natural surroundings and she aptly got up and started serving – the usual workaholic attitude that we both have la… Ma Lin was my lifesaver, talking to me and clearing up any bit of awkwardness, coz both Ko Zay and Ko Paing were pretty quiet or could only converse in Burmese.

The dinner was great and the food good as usual…but I didn’t get to fully enjoy it due to the acidic feel in my chest. We took a bus back to town, the rest chatting and laughing as Ko Zay played with Belle. I couldn’t understand a word so I just looked at the body language and listened to the tone of their voices. It wasn’t until Ma Lin said this :” Patience and Perseverance will conquer any mountain.” It was the only English phrase I managed to catch.When we got off the bus ,we fooled around as Belle and I headed to the toilet…and went to Lucky Plaza where Cow was there.

Ma Lin and the rest shopped for some stuff to bring home and I left shortly after.

We finally got the long awaited treat for Claudia, Jickson and Mo’s previous efforts during the festive period. The deal was a steamboat dinner by ME! 🙂 Emily was invited too…as she is now a part of the wisma crew.

Jick got hungry.

We went for some KTV after the steamboat. Emily and Claud sings well!

I realli loved the licking walnuts pic…kinda like my previous ‘wordplay’ post (its so fucking hard) I tink ur catching the drift! But still….yes i agree, yest’s convo was realli fun…its been awhile since i myself had someone to talk to like tat…and trust me…such a person is hard to come by for me. And as for being a fugly kid…hey i tink most of us were fugly as kids…its juz abt having frens hu actually gave a damn abt each other’s looks anot. I was fat in my pri n sec sch days…having changed tat as i got older…gave me more self esteem and the courage to realise tat wad the others say, is juz the ideas of the others – so fuck them ya?

Hey and u go n post my Chinese Name in ur bloggggggggg, sick la! lol! Your lit teacher is realli interesting…i loved lit and i actually got A2 for my sec 2 Lit classes…sadly after streaming i didn’t get Lit in my package…but still the love for books and everything wordish is in my veins.

My day today was realli hectic…i didn’t stop doing things once i stepped into the shop. It was like walking into a fierce battle midway and having to load ur weapon and bloody learn how to fire it. I had reports to send out, a stylist with 30 pcs of clothes to return and another wanted to loan some…add tat to the sudden influx of customers(thx god for the sale!) and time realli flew. By the time i realised i could go for my break…i had to go for a cigg break to settle my nerves. Luckily Min from Porter International came to take me away! The second half wasn’t tat bad…more or less the same flow as before…but much much much more smooth. A couple of smses from Huiqi and frens and soon it was time to go home~ Lovely day!

A lovely bunch of scarves came in today… Very much the Iraqi scarf as used by the SAS troops in Iraq. It was a sought after item by me…but Ebay didnt sell it…Now I got my hands on it! Gary and I had a great time with it but the fabric had a horrible smell on it(coz its new) ,still it didn’t stop us from wearing it for 2 whole hrs…lol!

of missed posts and missed loves

Heh i missed a post yesterday*too shag le…3days of Full shift killed me* Anyways…i went out at 8am yest for this meeting at City House in the CBD. It was a training session for Global Refund – u noe the thing for the tourists to get the gst back? Well finally the answer to my company’s GST issue has been cleared…and with a very big answer at tat! The training was very straightforward – how to fill in the forms, wad to take note of etc etc…but the speaker was pretty gd…he was damn observant and very entertaining…every frown lead to him saying :”any questions? ” and he’d answer u in the same quirky way he was running thru the slides…very gd speaker tat man.

However…b4 tat Jerry, William and me were at City hall and figuring out how to get there…so we decided to walk.

Along the way i got abit ‘touristy’ so…

Lol…very classic…i took this while walking and William den told me: “eh u tourist ah? ” haha!

After the whole meeting Aini(our accounts officer) and us 3 managers headed down to Lau Pa Sat for lunch before heading back…

Not bad rite…Lau Pa Sat in the morning. lol…strangely the were doing reno to 1 part of the place…wasn’t it suppose to be over? I ordered fried wanton ipoh hor fun and gosh THERE WAS 10 FRIED WANTONS ! So worth it…all for 3bucks! 😀 mind you those were realli big wantons but i dun haf pic lol…too stun le…forgot.

The rest of the day was normal….so i’ll spare u all the details. 🙂
